Early on, Richard T. Guarino learned the streets of New York by installing and maintaining pay phones along a route that took him through The Bronx, Manhattan Brooklyn. Before long, he began his New York City Real Estate Career in 1999 at Extreme Realty where he was trained, at a young age, to broker deals. Thanks to his fierce ambition and incredibly approachable personality, Guarino quickly soared to success and completed hundreds of transactions. After just 4 years, he was promoted to Managing Partner of Extreme Realty LLC. In 2013, after 14 years of deals, he made the move on to join Friedman-Roth Realty Services and was promoted to partner by 2015.
After years of active membership with the Bronx Manhattan North Association of Realtors (BMAR), Guarino was elected President in 2012. BMAR is a professional trade association officially representing the real estate industry since 1924 and is the local chapter for the New York State and National Association of Realtors® He was named BMAR’s Realtor Associate of the Year in 2009, and Realtor of the Year in 2015. To date, he has brokered over a billion dollars’ in sales.
Guarino and his wife, Jennifer, serve as volunteers at the Father’s Heart Ministries in Manhattan and are supporters of CMA, CHIP, Project To Cure (PTC), Phyllis F. Albstein Fund for Brain Science, and Pitbull Rescues organizations in New York and New Jersey.
